Attribution Challenge - 1876-CC Dime

    I picked up this heavily worn 1876-CC dime yesterday for melt. I have attributed the Fortin variety, but can you?

    NOTE: You do not need to mention die state. Just the Fortin number.

    I'll say F-108. Might be the strongest ddr in the entire series...

    Right you are. Traces of the doubling are still visible, even in this grade! Look closely at the top serif of the N in ONE - there is still doubling left. Also, the top of the T in CENT is higher than the other letters.

    I figured this one out using the placement and spacing of the mintmark. I didn't even see the doubling until after I figured that out.

    Your doing good if you can see the T in CENT on that coin. I can't even find CENT on this DIME. :)
