Nice! I love CBHs. A 1820/19 was the first coin I ever purchased as an adult. It's scratched but I just sent it in for grading with some others anyway. I have to save it. Would rather it not be scratched but it doesn't bother me either. Seems so many of them have been scratched. The CBHs have to be the most interesting series in all of the coin world for all the varieties and overdates. My type set requires three of them so it will include my first coin soon, despite the scratches. Would love to have an 1812. Really like that one.
I don't know who he's talking to or what his process is. I know the second volume was delayed because of the pandemic, but it should be on track again. If you've got his first volume for the early halves, I think it is fantastic (but I don't really collect those).
If anyone has halves they would like to share with me for the sake of practice, please contact me with images
Here you go. https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/ha...ulation-strikes-1807-1836/publishedset/243563 Someday I will cross my NGC 1815 and complete the registry. No hurry, though.
That's what I use. And when I still can't figure it out, I come here and tag @okbustchaser and ask him!
No chance! I like it as is. It may be in a focal area, but I easily can look past it. Very common variety, but the 'pincer 8's' really caught my eye.
Unfortunately, your set seems to be private, so I can't see images. Although I would love to look and see if I can ID them.
Here are a couple guesses. Some were harder than others. 1813 took me a long time but I just couldn't decide. 1807 - O-111 1808 - O-103 1810 - O-107? 1811 - O-110? 1812 - O-107? 1813 - don’t know
