I'm watching closely. As soon as the 2012 decisions are made, I may jump on a few 2011-Ps. 2010 slabbed examples have dipped a little, but still holding in the nicer examples. Along with SP-69 and SP-70, I think the MS-69 DMPLs will be winners. Peering into the finish of a DMPL versus a PL (especially on the George side), the difference is striking (yeah, pun). So eventually I can see the trophy sets being not only collector-Ps, but also the corresponding DMPL to go side-by-side. Pretty...

Also: look at slabbed NGC and PCGS pucks side by side...wow! The NGC is twice as big, has a picture in the label of the scene, and the EDGE's information (5oz, 999...) which you just can't see in the PCGS. And although some folks complain about storing these puppies, holding an NGC is like an I-pad tablet. The balance is good, and it's easy to share with newbies without them unthinkingly grabbing the plastic in the coin location. What a great way to expand their thinking beyond the ATB tiny quarters! At least they'll want to buy a magnifying glass...

So, yeah, I like 'em, and I'm really glad to see the pressure by online dealer pricing against the current mint prices. But I don't like them so much as to run out and get the collector 2010s just yet...especially the designs I'm not in love with...yet. Like Homer Simpson's pants on the Hot Springs
