Can someone please clarify for me, which ATB coins contain silver? From what I've read, The Bullion Silver ATB is most valuable, selling at $229 plus. Today, I scrolled Ebay, and the attached photos show an auction for a NON certified, NON proof, NON bullion, at this exorbitant bid. Am I missing something here, or did this seller just get lucky, from bidders thinking they're bidding on a GEM coin? Do the circulated ATB quarters contain any silver, or is this the case for just Proof and Bullion? Thank you so much, Sley
The Silver 5 oz ATB coins come in two versions: bullion (no mintmark) and uncirculated (with mintmark and originally sold in Government packaging directly from the US Mint).
The one in the first post is a bullion silver 5 oz version. As the seller mentions, it has some scuffs and discoloration (these are treated as bullion and come from the mint to their wholesale buyers in tubes, so they are not as carefully protected as the unc version).
Here is a guide I found online that has some good info (info is a little old but mostly the same-missing some 2020/2021 updates): https://libertycoinservice.com/wp-c...ca-the-beautiful-atb-5-ounce-silver-coins.pdf
