    @Jeff3384- most of us are nerds here. And most would cheer you on if you played nice and joined the little nerd club. “Nerd” is a badge of honor in these parts.

    But to be candid, you brought the “condescending attitude” upon yourself with that utterly absurd “1882 double eagle found in change in a laundromat” story, accompanied by an obviously stolen stock photo.

    As if nerds can’t do a Google image search like anyone else.

    Hope you’ll stick around and find a new way to make friends, but unfortunately it was you who had the condescending attitude if you expected anyone to believe that laughably outlandish tale.

    He probably realized that I was right. His Ikes are all clad. We can't really tell anything from the pictures he posted.. Just like his Gold Presidential Dollars aren't actually Gold.

    So yes, it does happen. Once in a lifetime, to a very, very few extremely lucky people. (And hey, a deserving guy got the lucky break this time.)
