Your grandfather definitely had a good eye for interesting stamps.</p><p><br /></p><p>As for me, still not sure if I&#039;m going to do a general Cuban collection from colonial era to 1959...or if I&#039;m just going to stick with American made stamps for their various occupations of Cuba, then move on to American made overprint stamps from their early period of the occupation of Puerto Rico, and perhaps American occupation of the Philippines stamps. The later would definitely be the ultimate postage tribute to late 19th century and early 20th century American imperialism.
