I like antique silver among many hobbies.
I like like historical ships and model building in general. Putting together this tiny all-metal model of the Battleship Arizona was very satisfying, and a rewarding way to spend the long winter evenings.
The Battle Ship Arizona:
That is a wonderful ship model.
Hiking, theater, professional basketball, film noir movies, the girls and the grandkids, history, craft beer
As for film noir, Scarlet Street is one of my favourites.
I collect a lot of things (Atari, books, Simpsons, and of course coins). I am also a licensed ham radio operator (AG7GX), and I enjoy playing around with electronics and computers (I am a software developer by profession).
That crested Roman galea would make a kool DJ topper, although the Kangol lid might not be appropriate for re-enactments
Wow... lots of hobbies... I have 3 things I enjoy collecting. Pre-WW2 "Hillbilly/Bluegrass/Old Time Singin'/Folk" 78 RPM records, Authentic Coca~Cola Memorabilia (bottles and such), and Corvairs... I have 3 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier vans... I've had at least one Corvair since 1991, before that is was aircooled VWs...
Odd mix, I know.
Blues music has always been a favorite pastime, mostly listening to the masters and watching old videos - here's a taste
Lightnin', Sonny, Brownie, Roosevelt Sykes, Ma Rainey, Slim Harpo
Well, it had been 2 years since I last picked up a new watch for my watch collection, but I did pick this one up today.
Circa Mid-1960s Timex mechanical military watch. It was somewhat popular with Vietnam era US troops as the simple mechanical movement was reliable and the plastic body made the watch both cheap to buy and durable in the humid jungle conditions.

In my guitar-playing days, I got to play with Pinetop Perkins, Johnnie Johnson, Ronnie Earl, James Harman. Lots of fun. Blues was my life then.
I used to make art quilts - really big - out of vintage natural fabrics. These are queen sized. After I made them, I gave them to people who had treated me kindly. I wish my hands did not hurt so much (it's hard on the wrists especially) because there are a few people I would love to make quilts for. Maybe I should just take some aspirin in advance and try. I have no idea what designs would come out now. These were based on the biological cell.
Gorgeous and cool!
You are so Lucky!!! Do you still play? What is your fav guitar?
Let's see. I bicycle, keep bees and eat and sell their honey, I am avid wildlife watcher (currently into owls), am kinda lazily restoring a Datsun Fairlady Roadster 1967, hiking in the Dunes National Lakeshore, movies, music and lots and lots of other stuff.
I would love to do that. Unfortunetaly I'm allergic to bees.
