This bottle (9"x3") still contains the original fish oil.
I bought because of the fish logo. The obverse
contains the original label - Norwegian Fish Oil.

I've got a couple of boxes of old bottles,
including several medicine bottles, with some
    having the original labels,

Nice fish on that one! I mainly collect 19th c. and earlier glass.

The piso company, hazeltine & company, was a concoction of cannabis , opiates , alcohol ....these came in different colors and were sold I believe up until 1900's because of certain trade marks that weren't seen prior to 1870's.

Very nice! I don't have any green ones. "a concoction of cannabis , opiates
    alcohol ...."

That combination won't cure anything, a least you will not feel bad while taking it.

    Hello,

Is anyone into collecting minerals, or has knowledge about them?
I got this piece, that I would like to know something about:

I also collect vinyl. I love the ritual of playing them. Looking at the beautiful artwork on a gatefold LP. Love hearing the music through a nice marantz receiver and some big kenwood speakers. All this makes me appreciate music more than hearing it on my phone.

I also collect some odd records too...

Your photographs are way cool, @Aethelred! And 2D shots of planets look a lot like coins.

Isn't that the skeleton of sea creatures? It is not coral? Looks like it has some crystals formed on it. Salt? Quartz? Can't be quartz, I don't think. Well, I just Googled it and apparently quartz can grow on coral but the crystal would be much longer apparently. Salt crystals can also grow on coral. You might want to start investigating there if no one comes up with better ideas. I am NOT a geologist nor a scientist (and I do not even play one on TV).

That bridge of Calatrava looks like part of a whale's food sifting parts (gills?) It also reminds me of a hand plane.
@Curtisimo's bridge is smaller but it looks really heavy and strong and sturdy. A no-nonsense bridge I would feel safe crossing on foot in any weather. Calatrava's - maybe not so much on a very windy day.
@Ragmarok, I am sorry for using your post to respond but it was very convenient. Thank you.

I have hundreds of cool old vinyl albums (the record covers are things that'll become super collectible)

... sadly, I tacked most of my cool ones on the wall of my bedroom when I was super-high in grade-10, livin' large in my parent's basement! (good times, for everybody but my parents)

    Very cool radio!
Will it be possible to find replacement knobs for the front?

No, but I've got a very old benchtop digital multimeter with a Nixie display. I'll have to see if I can find it.

I'm extremely new (when compared to others on this board) to coin collecting in fact I only have an ancient lot I just recently acquired and have been asking for help on. I used to collect baseball cards but the hobbie is full of snakes now so I kept one nice card and sold the rest to a collector for a very fair price. Other than that I collect ugly-cute dogs... In case you don't know what an ugly-cute dog is... it's a dog that is so ugly it is deemed cute. [emoji3]

Congratulations on your radio. I have an old ham radio that my grandfather used to love to use.

This is not my photograph but it is a photo of the same radio I have. Always loved the idea of ham radio (and radio in general). I remember getting my first transistor radio. Wow! Like someone had handed me a personal computer -- a personal, portable line to the outside world! Still have an antique transistor radio that works. Also loved having a radio show that reached several states. Radio is so cool. I would really enjoy seeing your collection @randygeki
