All week I've been trying to catch a few ASE stragglers on eBay but for some reason they all go for around $22. Why do you think that is?? Well known sites like Provident sell ASE's for around $20 no matter the quantity sometimes even less! What gives, what am i missing here lol.

$20.68 on my favorite site........popularity and demand dictate the price. If they couldn't get what they ask (price wise) they'd have to lower things a bit. Bite the bullet, sit on your hands, wait a spell........

Provident is not as "well known" as ebay. Ebay would be my first place to look. At I just went to provident to "buy" one 2017 ASE. $20.74 for the coin plus $5.95 for shipping is $26.69. That ebay price is looking like a bargain compared to that.

JM Bullion currently the least expensive (with free shipping) @ $20.80 for singles. (they also sell on ebay, and sometimes at a price lower than their website)

I have had no issues when buying from them.

Provident has singles for $20.74. Best deal on a Tube is $399.00 on Govmint.

Plus shipping, unless there is a promo I am unaware of.

    doug444 STAMPS and POSTCARDS too!

For anyone actively buying bullion (bars or coins) in small amounts, I suggest adjusting your eBay "Preferences" to get direct emails. Ebay will FLOOD your emailbox with deals, I get 4 or 5 a day; some are good, some are bad.

They tend to offer free shipping from the big-name dealers. But you certainly have plenty to choose from.

No shipping on Provident if you buy 5 or more. No shipping on Govmint.

I've never understood the buying on eBay. I've almost never seen anything on there that you couldn't buy cheaper from a dealer.

I guess its cheaper to buy singles, but then again I haven't checked any local shops, most of all my shopping is done online these days
