Found this which is being sold as a Merovingian "belt aplique" (a mount?). Having basically no knowledge on Merovingian artifacts and thinking that something Merovingian should cost way more than what this seller is asking for this belt thing, I am naturally skeptical. Is it really what its being described as? Thanks. A quick Google search turned up this somewhat similar artifact:
