Fascinating mythology write-up, by Roman Collector, and great Artemis coins, by various members (Those hunted boars, on coins, were no bores !). But, a query. Artemis, goddess of childbirth, is, as huntress, described as with small hips. That doesn't bode well for her own child-births !!!
Diadumenian, Marcianopolis Artemis with hound Julia Domna denarius Laodicea Diana Lucifera Antoninus Pius like the zumbly coin another a bit later with AVG on the reverse but not on the obverse
My offering of Artemis to Roman Collector, with compliments. However, seems childbirth wasn't an issue for Artemis, and, maybe reluctantly, we have to accept that. "Artemis was goddess of the hunt and was in charge of the Hunters of Artemis, as well as the Amazons, these groups consisted of young women who swore off men, keeping themselves pure. These were also considered children of Artemis."
