Nothing to explain really, and not directed at anybody, just a jab at us modern collectors saying that our threads don't attract enough quality banter. I'm just saying that if we want more activity, we need to be a little more interesting.

Actually, I've read plenty of interesting, thought-provoking threads in all of the forums at CT. As far as I'm concerned, the bashing is all good-natured and tongue-in-cheek. Each to his own, I'm OK you're OK, too many cooks spoil the root of all evil, etc...

 

That's all right, I'm sure the two of you will be able to make up.

I Love ancients and had an impressive modern collection---and still go after a few that interest me, particularly as a 'Type Collection'...but no stamps LOL

Most 'modern' folks split hairs (regard to grade). Classic guys look for them (on coins to determine cleaning) and old guys lament the recession (just ask the Donald). You Canadian guys know not of what I speak, and if you do, you need to pay more attention to what's going on in your sweet country......
