I went to the bank and had asked for some nickel dime penny and quarter roll,s she had all of them but 4 additional nickel rolls she went to a coworker area and grabbed them from her till at the bank I didn’t even realize it said 1959 on the outside until later that evening . Storage if you me a bank vault. Then. Yeah but no these are black beauties.
Many YouTube videos are incorrect. The one you saw is totally incorrect. Nickels do not have clad layers. They are made of Cupro-Nickel which is 75% Copper and 25% Nickel. And Black Beauties are not Nickels struck on Copper planchets. They are Cupro-Nickel Planchets that were Improperly Annealed.
Incorrect but a good thing you are willing to learn. Here you go - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doubled_die And https://doubleddie.com/58222.html FYI.. Coins are never printed. They are struck/minted. There are no Dyes used during the minting proccess. They do use Dies though.. Funny. Don't worry. It takes time to understand all this. Good luck with your Nickels. Peace.
