It's been a long time since I met someone that didn't liked coin. I gift them all the time with not a hint of disinterest. Some folks might not collect them, but they do like to have them and spend them. How can collecting them not be cool? It is what we do.
I'm the same way. Some know I do, and they don't call me nerdy because of it. They call me nerdy because I collect stamps, play D&D and video games, and would rather read a book than watch TV. They actually think it's cool that I collect coins. Then again, the majority of my collection is now Roman and Medieval, so maybe they think I run a museum?
