I've gone through the accumulation about three times now. Each search occurs when I learn more from you fine folk. It's been fun. It's only $400 in notes. Not like it's going to change my life or retirement. Saving them for my kids & grands is a no brainer. When asked what I wanted for father's day this year I requested currency sleeves. So yeah, saving them is not an issue. Thanks for the encouragement.
@masterswimmer - May I suggest you label the sleeves as WEB notes...they are not well known as collectables
That's a smart idea. I have my coins all labeled on their flips. Hopefully that will help my family when I shuffle off this mortal coil. I never thought about doing it on the currency sleeves though...
I will definitely do that. Good idea. Thanks. I'll even leave a writeup describing what a web note is.
For sure keepers ! but here again is it for hobby or investment ? if hobby Collect what you want but as always condition has to play a role if you want To make any money on them. If your looking for some cool notes to collect the $1 1963B "Barr Note" is a cool one, not super high premiums either, crisp ones can still be had for a good price.
Thanks for joining in the fray. I'll be keeping them as a hobbyist. $5 values don't scream investment to me.
Well if memory serves in crisp uncirculated that goes to $10 and $15. I only said $5 because of condition.
Yes, Yes it does. I used the 6 for the front and the 8 for the back. I didn't even notice that 4. lol
