Are these 'milk spots'?

    These spots look like something got on the coin and dried. Similar to washing a car window in the hot sun.

    That sound right. Below is a coin covered in silver chloride and sold on auction as such,

    Yes, same coin.


    I didn't know they could get bigger too. Great... I've got a few others with tiny spots that I can live with. I guess until they grow.

    The spots are in the metal, not on the metal. That is why a coin dip (acid) cannot and does not remove them. Nor does water, or anything else that has been tried.
