Are these coins Silver?

    That's the way virtually every in Canada does it.

    Prior to 1920 as in anytime until 1919, yes. 1920 and to 1966 and some 1967 are 800 silver. To add to the above comments on the 1967 - the specimen and mint sets were struck in the first half of the year, and so are always 80%.
