Group, One coin that I got a while back is very rubbed out so there is no intrinsic value, but it is still a bit of a puzzle for me to identify it. There are enough clues on the coin for me to figure it out, if I had the right resources. Only problem is that it is an 18th century coin and I only have SCWC for the 19th and 20th centuries. Are there any online resources that anyone knows about for 18th century coins? I think that this is from one of the German States. I could easily describe the size and composition and the image on one side of the coin is clear but about half of the inscription on the other side is not, including the denomination. I'm sure that if I post a photo of it here, 5 people will tell me exactly what it is but I really want to try to figure it out by myself as much as possible. Thanks, -Daniel
