As I have told before on this Forum, I am researching the reign of Domitian and the distorted image of him in the sources. I am still in the starting phase. And things that I mainly do at the moment are: Reading and re-reading sources, reading publications and watching coins. An important part of the information we have about Domitian comes from coins. There are great types such as the Ludi Saeculares and Germania capta coins. But 'normal' Minervas can also offer a lot of information. Due to the Damnatio memoriae what was said about Domitian, coins are about the only source that can tell us something about how he felt about himself. That is why I am looking for a book that describes his coinage as well as possible. Since there are a large number of Domitian enthusiasts here on this forum (I am happy with it), I wonder if anyone knows a good book about specifically his coins. If you know a good book, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
