Found this in a roll today and really like the design. Did they ever make silver ones cause if so I need to get a few?
I guess that one can assemble a list of coins (real and NCLT) which have Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hind on them.
Awesome, I looked both those up and they're expensive but do have the design I'm looking for. Thanks everyone
No. Not for circulation, at least. If any silver commemoratives were minted for the ECS, I'm not aware of them.
I like east Caribbean coins, 1950s through 70 or so. If your into ships like that, Britain has a half penny with a ship from the 30s or 40s to the 60s I think.
In Portuguese coins there are mainly two types: Silver (.650) in denominations of 2.50, 5 and 10 escudos Copper- nickel in denominations of 2.50, 5 and 10 escudos Still remembrance of the Discovery (Glory) days of Portugal.
Eastern Caribbean dollars, the national currency of Grenada. All clad I believe. The old dollars are brass, and some of the fractional currency is aluminum. I had quite a few of them from when I was living there. I also spent quite a few, 5 EC$ would get you a Carib beer most anywhere.
