I just like collecting them. I do buy both the proofs and Unc. I also like to buy the sets they release... coin&curency, Coin&stamp, coin&medal ect... i have alot of them. The 5 coin lincoln set due out later this year ... whats going to be in it? 5 cents, 4 cents and a commem dollar? If its just cents, i doubt i will buy it. But if it includes a commem, they i most likely will.

I do get excited when my coins acrue in value - especially when i buy them at issue price - like the 20th anniv of the ASE set.
