Are proof sets worth investing in?

It was perceived as "rare" at one point and people snapped it up left and right. If I had the money and the ability, I would have had to lay out over $150 (nearly $350 today) as an infant to buy one. But look at what has happened to the value of that piece over the last nearly 30 years.</p><p><br /></p><p>The key point here?
