Auction results show that it appears 1-3 times a year. I was not able to find one currently for sale. I guess that issue could be considered rare.
It's not necessarily worth that much to me, but what I think isn't relevant. In the real world, if I want one that's what my competition for that coin is willing to pay, so I have to either pony up or go empty-handed. Conversely, that makes it a decent place to park $2000 because that same competition will buy it at that price down the road. The key to coping with supply and demand is to understand that supply isn't the strictly governing half of the equation. Demand is.
Yes. There may only be ten of something in existance, but if only five people are interested, it's not that expensive.
