Are euros accepted in England?

Exchange rates for cash are one thing, but be especially careful when using a credit//debit card. I’ve noticed that it’s very common now, both in the UK and in continental Europe, for the ATMs or scanners in stores to ask if you want to charge in dollars or local currency. Always choose local currency because you will almost always get a better rate through your bank. The dollar option gives you a crappy rate.

Are you talking serious. Now thats not really true. Maybe border towns. Plus. Your confussing things. Who wants pesos. Harder to figure out the the metric system. I live in buffalo. 2 minutes from canadian border. We find canadian coins in coin star cuz even the banks don't want them. If you have a canadian nickel in you coin roll return. They reject it. Can't see your situation being any different.

You'd have to be preeeettttyyy close to the border for pesos to be accepted. I live in San Diego, and I've only ever seen pesos in coinstars - not even in rolls. I mean, the Mexicans would rather have USD than pesos, especially if they're the type to commute between the two countries.

Same thing as UK shops accepting Euros - it's a barter deal that both sides are willing to make.
