Are all woodies errors?

    75% copper (metallurgic wise) differs significantly in characteristics from 95% copper. Yes, they are both copper alloys, but the Ni gives a very different set of characteristics due to the molecular structure. And now you have me confused, are you saying that Nic-A-Date should work on 95% copper cents? I do not believe so. And Jallen I must respectfully disagree with the metal flow. As far as discernible, I guess I can't argue as I am unsure of the actual amount of flow movement.

    I do not have any Nic-a-Date so I cannot test it, but I suspect it would work. However, my main comment had to do with you saying " it doesn't work on copper alloys".

    I realize they are hard to see, but this coin has numerous tiny voids on the surface. If the metal were flowing significantly, why would these not have been covered over?
