I'm new to looking for errors, and going through a box of pennies tonight I think I found a ddo on a 1974d AU cent Erty of liberty, and e trust of in God we trust. I ordered a microscope for my phone and iPad, but won't have it for a few days; so can't post pictures of it. Still trying to figure out if it's a ddo or ... Double strike? Think it's termed. From what I gather, the double strike will be lower than the initial letter, but the ddo will be even. I have found a couple coins that double strike seems to be correct, the extra image seems lower, closer to the surface. This looks different to me, so I ordered the microscope to post a picture, if it has any value other than the cool and neat factor. Before I spend way too much more time on this, wanted to know if there was an intrinsic value to this. I know that this is on several lists to watch for; but cannot find a relative value for it. Either way it was a neat find and am happy with finding it. Thank you for your time and providing such a happy, information laden forum. I have spent hours reading posts here[/QUOTE]
