You're consumed with envy because he's smarter than you. That's why all you got as comebacks are personal attacks on his character. That only shows what a juvenile you are. You can't deal with his hard-hitting questions so you freak out and flip the subject to a personal psychological assessment of his character. Like they say in the Starkist Tuna ads, "Sorry, Charlie." Your tuna ain't good enough. We ain't buying it.
I appreciate the support Eddie but it's not necessary. And to be honest, trading insults is simply not the way to go buddy. It makes things worse, not better.
There’s nothing to disagree about you’re simply wrong and there are countless collector members of CAC. Don’t believe me that’s your issue.
baseball21, posted: "There’s nothing to disagree about you’re simply wrong and there are countless collector members of CAC..." Question: Doug said IN THE BEGGINING - the first days of CAC. So, either CAC was accepting submissions from dealers ONLY or BOTH dealers and collectors IN THE BEGINNING. Which is it? What they are doing NOW or sometime after they opened IS NOT THE QUESTION. Perhaps they started as a dealer only service and then accepted everyone. I don't know or care personally; but the truth matters. I have heard that to start things off CAC was giving freebies to dealers. I don't know if this is true or not.
That’s not what his statement means. He either mistyped or was implying that they no longer accept collector members which is just simply false. I’m a collector member, I’ve helped several other people become collector members, I’m not even the only collector member that posts here. The implication that only dealers can submit to CAC is just simply false
CAC has or did put a limit on who can send in coins. From what I understood they weren't taking any new customers. That could have been because of Covid but, from what I understood they were overloaded with submissions. They maybe more to it but, if CAC doesn't have enough people on staff to handle the load I could understand their reasoning. It's not like they can go out and find skilled graders right off the street. It may not be that way right now so they could be accepting more collector submissions.
Their membership has "been closed" for like a decade. If people would actually pick up the phone and call instead of just giving up they would see that if you call them you get put on a waiting list which starts the process to join. This has been known the entiire time people just want it to by like the TPGs of sign in and do it I guess. I didn't have any trouble sending them a submission as a collector during covid. They may have done something weird during lockdowns but I'm not aware of anything like that other than just being slower just like the TPGs were/are
Yeah, I'm hearing you. I get restless in this barn, sometimes, though, and just start kicking, but I'll watch it.
