Very tempting. Thanks for the heads up. Can anyone explain the difference between these two products? They appear exactly the same to me save for the price.........
Yeah, because its important to be able to collect those invisible mintmarks. Sorry for the snarky comment, but for the life of me I cannot understand how two coins, if impossible to SEE any difference, ARE any different. Its overreaches like this that makes me think some modern collectors are WAY too eager to find differences that aren't there.
I think it's silly to collect these but what do I know? I certainly wouldn't pay the premium. There is no discernible difference between the two coins minted at West Point and San Fran. Heck, they both use the same dies I would think. Just an aside here, but all of the bullion (no mint mark) coins in the 2011 25th anniversary set were minted in San Fran.
Ha, the same two I'm interested in... Close enough.. (spot at $19.40)... just ordered a tube of the Elephants (plus a few)... free shipping and a free USB memory card. Nice.
Thanks for the tip, vpr. I now have all of the "fun" world bullion (panda, kookaburra, koala, horse and elephant) for 2014 and the year isn't even here yet. What do we do now? All that is left to be released is the "snoozer" bullion that never changes (ASE, libertad, maple leaf, philharmonic, taku, noah's ark, britannia....yawn). Seeing a "4" instead of that "3" should be pretty exciting though. It could be a long year. I feel a nap coming on.
