The dollar is electronically traded now and has been for decades, they don't buy or exchange actual bills. It's all just accounting in computers. The only cash in the form of bills that's actually used, is by the little people - us. The only reason they even make it is to give it to us. And they really don't like doing that anymore. A person may own a million shares of company X, but I can just about guarantee you that they do not own even 1 actual paper share certificate, just a bunch of numbers in some computer that say they do.
