The dollar is electronically traded now and has been for decades, they don&#039;t buy or exchange actual bills. It&#039;s all just accounting in computers. The only cash in the form of bills that&#039;s actually used, is by the little people - us. The only reason they even make it is to give it to us. And they really don&#039;t like doing that anymore. A person may own a million shares of company X, but I can just about guarantee you that they do not own even 1 actual paper share certificate, just a bunch of numbers in some computer that say they do.
