Anything "special" about these 64 / 68 Kennedy halves?

    I remember hearing somethng of that sort, but was worried that I might have heard wrong! Thanks for clarifying it.

    I have to make a correct to my last post. I check the records and Philadelphia did not strike half dollars in 1965 either. So no Philadelphia struck halves from 1965 through 1970.

    Oh really! I thought I heard that all circulating 1965-1970 half dollars were made at the Denver Mint. But Sanfransisco did the SMS strikes I believe. Maybe I should stop second guessing myself!
