From Northeast Numismatic.... Holy CoW(!) An MS61(!) ---I should let them send mine in for grading, probably come back as an MS64 instead of the AU58 holder it's currently in. I understand weak strike should not be confused with wear, but the reverse of this coin is so weak it might as well be classified as an error coin rather than mint state.

Prince that coin is no more mint state than I am.

I wouldn't even grade it a gXF. If that ugly thing is in a 61 holder, its a poster child for what is wrong with slabbing world coins. :(

Heck, I have a nice VF at home, (actually most probably in the SDB), I would buy for the same money as that one.

Well, it's still not as bad as my all-time favorite Northeast Numismatic coin, the 1912 Bulgarian 100 Leva in a PF68 holder. The sword through beard specimen if anyone remembers it. The coin was covered with fog, except for an area in front of the portrait that looked like a sword being plunged into the king's beard. omg was it nasty looking. Just checked their website and its gone, apparently someone appreciates foggy proof coins in PF68 holders more than I do.
