Anyone remember the Washington Senators?

    I remember the Twins and the Dodgers playing the ‘65 Series.

    68 & 69 riding those old green busses , from Liberty rd. To Waverly and back...home.

    The only problem you might have at "old" Memorial Stadium was that you could park your car in the lot and come out 3-4 hours later to find it up on cinder blocks.

    If I remember correctly, it was a “homer” series. Unlike the most recent World Series, the home team always won. There were four games in LA so ...

    The Nats Astros was the biggest outlier in the history of sports and the only series in any major sport where the away team won every game. Before the last WS home teams were 383-314 all time and 187-130 since 1969 so there was never a time the home team always won.

    I remember the Washington Senators. However, I remember that the Kansas City Athletics were probably just as bad as the Senators.

    I saw them play in Griffith Stadium.
    Probably in the late 1950's.

    That almost looks like a press pin. Is there lettering between the dome and the word "Senators"? It kinda looks like it but I can't make it out.
