In the film, Bond is being sent to Istanbul to meet a beautiful Russian spy.</p><p><br /></p><p>There was a scene early in the film where Bond&#039;s chief hands him an attache case with some devices, including straps containing &quot;fifty gold sovereigns&quot;.</p><p><br /></p><p>I knew what a &quot;sovereign&quot; was, and could see the figure of young Elizabeth II on them.
