I found this coin in my home because I’m moving and I was wondering what kind of coin it is. I tried to google searching as best as I could and nothing came up.
Looks like Renaissance-era Milan, but a later copy, not an original coin. This isn't really my area, hopefully others here can be more specific.
Not even copy; rather a modern fantasy coin or medal for Ludovico Sforza, duchy of Milan, Italy, year approx. 1500. Edit:/hope i got the right Ludovico; medieval Italy is not my strong point either.
I don't know how you did that.... But I am impressed. Next time I lose my keys, I am going to send you a photo of my bedroom.
No, I believe it is "Ag .835", so struck in .835 silver (83.5% fine). So though a fantasy piece, it does appear to have a modest bit of silver in it.
Copy of : Asti (Italy) - Luis XII de France duc d' Orleans - Teston = LUDOVIC DUX AURELIANENSIS =MEDIOLANI AC AST DNS
