I've been extremely interested in North Korea for awhile. I read a book about the prison camps and and people who defected from North Korea. This country is so mysterious and downright evil. I'm interested in it and I keep up to date with anything North Korean. I never buy foreign coins but last Sunday I started to chat with a seller that only sold foreign coins. We talked about high school, running, and a bunch of random stuff when I switched the subject to coins. I asked, "Do you have any North Korean coins?" He told me he did and showed me what he had. I bought both of them and that is where my interest started in North Korean coins. What types of coins are there? Do people use these often? Do they make coins every year? Do they have paper money? Any information would be helpful! Here are some pictures of the North Korean coins I bought.
