    I've always used the 's for multiples and -S for the mintmark.

    Yes, I fully agree, with an apostrophe or a hyphen it is self explanatory, as it should be.

    As I said earlier, they didn't even create the Close AM hub until 1992. You can't have it being used two years before it was created.
