I am starting to think this just might be a cool goal. I love branch mints and San Francisco one of the most varied of all. My starts here were random but I have a good start.
sorry only have picture of the $3 gold right now
    Current list

1912-S Nickel (Raw and pulled from a junk lot )
1875-S 20 Cent (It holed and I will likely upgrade)
1897-s Quarter (mining find by my dad here in the Klondike raw and I would expect it would get a details grade for rim and environmental damage so much loved by may upgrade will post picture next time I have it out )
1857-S $2.5 (I may upgrade since mine is cleaned and as hints of a mount but a much loved coin first gold )
    1856-S $3 Dollars (Low but a straight grade )

I thought I had a trade dollar but turns out my dad brought a Vietnam War Era fake from a friend (all by accident)

My next target is likely a Indian head cent or seated coins and for course gold.

Neat idea. I like your low-grade $3 gold piece. It's a cool early S-mint, too.

That's a nice type to have, in any condition.

The only "Threeagle" I have ever owned was an 1860, very rough, but I got it for melt-ish money at the time ($160-ish). It had traces of an old counterstamp on the obverse which I unfortunately could never quite fully make out.

Speaking of 1856-S coins like your Threeagle, I had a holey 1856-S quarter eagle on my once-famous Holey Gold Hat, too.

For one who loves the San Francisco mint, anything from 1870. Just be prepared to pay the premium.
