I think it's a progression or later die stage of the "spitting horse", and if it is, then it's not going to be a pre-cud I don't think but two die cracks off of the top of the horses head, and off of the horses mouth. From the pictures, I can't tell if the crack transitions across the horses head or not. I think to be a pre-cud, or retained cud, or cud it has to be a rim to rim crack. if it's not complete, it's just cracks. might be worth sending some good pictures to Cuds-on-coins and seeing if it qualifies or not. no harm in that.
