Contrary to what many people think of North Korea, she is actually quite rich in natural resources. Gold, uranium and even anthracite is mined there. In fact, she is one of the largest known reserves for anthracite. A lot were shipped to China before trade restrictions forced China's hands down.

How else would a hermit kingdom survive other than illegal drug deals, printing counterfeit 100 dollar and online bank hacking?

That said, I do have some obscure North Korea coins. This one is pretty odd

I read that they hack computers and then demand Bitcoin or Ethereum if the person wants their data back.
