Anyone have North Korean coinage/currency?

I’ve seen ALOT of different world currencies on this forum but I’ve never ever seen anyone share North Korean coinage/currency.

Yes it’s obvious why. North Korea is a hermit kingdom and most people don’t want to go there for any reason.

But I’m just curious if anyone does happen to have NK coinage/currency?

Like maybe stuff they bought from someone who visited there.

Nope. Those are mine. Like I said, I got them when I visited the DMZ.

I have some stamps somewhere too.

I see from the package labeling that they don't have currency there, they have "currenry"! nice coins. Some other versions of these have additional stars to denote "socialist or capitalist visitors" 1 star for socialist and 2 for capitalist.

And here is my bottle of North Korean soju. I bought two bottles back in 2010. Drank one there...it was awful.
Saved the second for the day that the Kim regime falls. Whenever that may be.

I have some North Korean notes and stamps someplace. I also have something I'm not supposed to have. I was golfing at a Korean Country Club near Suwon in 1986 and found a couple of North Korean propaganda leaflets. We're supposed to turn them in if found...but I saved the ones I found. I'm not sure what I did with them, but I know I put them someplace safe.

I've got a ton of those too!
They were littered all over Seoul/Seongnam where I lived. Most have some pretty violent images on them that would not be appropriate for this site. I can pull a few of the lesser ones out and scan/post them if there is interest.

Contrary to what many people think of North Korea, she is actually quite rich in natural resources. Gold, uranium and even anthracite is mined there. In fact, she is one of the largest known reserves for anthracite. A lot were shipped to China before trade restrictions forced China's hands down.

How else would a hermit kingdom survive other than illegal drug deals, printing counterfeit 100 dollar and online bank hacking?

That said, I do have some obscure North Korea coins. This one is pretty odd
