Anyone have any ICG slabbed foreign coins? Opinions?

    It never will...
    I see in theUK publication, "Coin News" many barbs hurled at US TPG coins. Example/ an AV 5 Guineas PGGS MS-62 (sold in British Auction) was described as close too EF. Most Europeans/ UK auctions only classify MS-66 and higher as FDC/ Mint state/ Stempelglanz. The Spanish and Portuguese actually have two categories SC= MS-63/64/65 FDC= MS-66+. The French have Spl. = MS-62/63/64

    Right on @panzerman. I have a friend right now near Oslo, Norway, obtaining some coins for me. He emphasize again and again how strict the Norwegians are in their grading. Right now the exchange rate favors a purchase in Norway: it's like a huge sale with 25-35% off compared to five years ago.
