Sometimes its the little things that make your day. After being busy as heck the past few days, I thought I was never going to make it to the coin show. Its 50 miles from me, and I really wanted to go since I missed Long Beach. Anyways, I finally made it there about 1:45pm, I wasn't charged to get in, and since I had my father with me (Dad's not a coin guy, but he enjoys looking) we saved the $6.00 Entry free. Parking was $9.00, that sucks, but wasnt going to stop me. There wasn't many deals to be had, and some prices were insane even for the most common stuff. Most dealers wanted $5.00 over for any kind of silver bullion. Some wanted $35.00. I found a lady with two containers full of silver bars, probably a total of 200, it was lots, and I sat there for about an hour looking at every one. I found a couple that I had been looking for, for a long time. Well, i've seen them, and could have bought them for close to $40.00 if I wanted to, but I guess the hard part was finding what I wanted...for what I wanted to pay. The lady was selling them for $29.00 Each, lots of stuff from the 70's and 80's. If I hadn't restrained myself I would have bought more, but she did give me her card, and told me she'd sell me more anytime at the same $1.50 +/- over spot. So I WILL be contacting her again soon. PICS TO FOLLOW!
