Anyone else think this is disgusting? (michael jackson half dollar)

Wow!! I wouldn't take it that far but I certainly hear what you're saying. MJ was a pervert and sicko just like the others!! The only difference is he was rich and famous prior to becoming a weirdo pervert!! :headbang:

Would I or anyone else I consider to be coin collector buy one of these? Simple answer is no. But, I can deal with these and high prices of coins on TV a whole lot easier than I can with the counterfeiting of our coinage.

I just read the counterfeiting thread, looked at the pictures, and wrote a reply to it. Obama and Jackson stickies on coins is nothing compared to this.

Why is is in bad taste? I DO believe its trash and certainly like said before, most collectors, I would think, wouldnt even consider buying one but if you are a fan of MJ...what wrong with it? Yeah...at least they didnt just throw a sticker on a half or pres dollar.

 

I agree. I have no problem with it. Many people out there really liked Michael Jackson and if they want this because they are his fan...there is nothing wrong with that, it's not in bad taste. Most coin collectors wouldn't get within 10 feet of one...and there is nothing wrong with that either.
