I also collect Excelsior tokens and coins celebrating scout events. I've put together a web display for the ones I've come across or have. I'm adding more tokens, coins and information all the time. I don't have values but lots of images.

    Hope this helps,

I've put together several web pages with scout tokens, not those above but ones that were special issue. They can be found here: www.sageventure.com/coins/misc.html.
I also have multiple pages showing most of the Excelsior tokens made in the 1910's. To see the different versions of these tokens, you have to click the tabs on the right of this page: www.sageventure.com/coins/scout.html. I hope people that collect scout tokens find these pages interesting.
    All the best,

I've been collecting them for many years and it's one of the tougher things to collect on the cheap. They sell pretty well and most people seem to not want to give them up so you have to be first at estate sales to get them at a reasonable price. About the only thing harder (and as common) to find cheap are coal tokens.

The first medal is exceedingly common without the loop.

Wow!! Very impressive. I'll take a much closer look when I have time.

Not to be nit picky but those are the twelve points of the Scout law, the Scout Motto is "Be Prepared".

They are positioned on the token in order to keep them with the proper number. The first law point was Trustworthy and it is at 1:00, Loyal is the second point and it is at 2:00 and so on.

It's even more impressive the closer I look. The "good luck tokens" are spectacular and there are several I've never even heard of before.

I have to imagine you've been at this for quite some time.

I have a number of scout coins and tokens. I have posted images on my World Scout Coins website. Click any of the images of this page to see images - www.sageventure.com/coins/
I am not selling anything. My site is for information only.
