Anyone buying those 1/2 oz Perth Mint Sharks?

Been saving up some money just to buy some of them.

I checked online. Besides Ebay it seems that APMEX is the only dealer selling them. I would just be buying one and given that the cost of shipping would be almost as much as the coin itself I'll have to pass. I'll keep an eye out on Ebay and see if I can get the coin for a reasonable price

That is very cool looking.

 

I like 'em and I've picked up about 5 or 6 so far. Bought one at a local show for $16 and the rest a couple weeks back as an add-on to a larger purchase on Apmex when they had free shipping. Got those around $12.75 or so. I believe they are only minting 300,000 of them so somewhat limited. I think they'll hold their premiums over time, and I really like the looks of them. I'll probably pick up some more and maybe eventually fill up a tube.

I bought them from a guy that was selling them online.

 

And I think he bought them from Apmex.

 

The 10 that I bought from Apmex Ebay page arrived today. They came in a tube like this

 

I know I paid more for the Mint Direct gimmick and that I'll never be able to hold the coins but, it's my money and it makes me happy.
