Anybody meet a super reclusive collector?

Look closer. Buss built (IIRC) IHC and Buff albums from a paper route as a child, and never lost the love of coins.

That's pretty much the type of situation I was envisioning. A want list with maybe a few basic parameters or just saying they trust the person and nothing more than a quick chat here and there for payment as opposed to actively participating and talking coins.

 

Yea not sure where I got that idea. I googled him up and he was a serious collector. I guess there is hope for one of us someday owning the Lakers!

 

I want to say, in the interview I read it mentioned that he still had those albums built as a child when he was interviewed, 50+ years later. A coin nut of the highest order.

 

Where's the list and the bundle of cash?
