anybody know what this is? not sure if its even a real coin.

    OK, so its a fake, but I think it would be fair to tell egreulich a fake what. Looks kind of like a 2 Reales, but without any identifiable script or date. Here is my old, beat-up 2 Reales. I can only encourage anyone asking for help in identifying a coin to tell us the size and weight thereof. Mine is only 4,9 g (and thus maybe fake too?), 28 mm. ES2Reales1721PhilipVb.jpg

    I suspect that was a game token or jeton meant to look only a little like a Spanish 2 reales, rather than an attempt to fool anyone. Sorry though - you never know what an unknown piece is going to turn out to be!

    It looks like 2-reales coin of the king Philippus V. But I don't like the weight: normal weight was 6,77 g.
