I think you missed this thread started by @tommyc03 this past Sunday concerning this topic. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/cheerios-one-cent-premium.262554/
Tommy was talking about the Lincoln cent, not the Sac. Dollar. And to the OP, no, I don't own one of these.
Gosh I know that but it mentioned the Cheerios Sac Dollar later on in the thread and one member posted his certified Cheerios Dollar with a picture. Just wanted davidh to check it out.
I had a friend of mine who ate nothing but Cheerios as a kid. He was telling me one day that his mother would buy two to 4 boxes a week. We were talking one day as we both worked together and he knew I collected coins. How this all got started was a sticker on a locker in a food stores employee break room. The sticker was advertising for the dollar coin in the Cheerios boxes. Any way he's telling me he had found d 4 or 5 of the dollars as well as pennies . I was like Ed what did you do with the dollar coins? Oh I buy ice cream every time I find one ! Doh! So a I said Ed any ideal what those dollars be worth now a days? He said probably not much after all I was like 9-10 years of age back in 2000. And no one likes those coins anyway. I said Eddie sit down..... then I told him. He was like no way!!!! Way Eddie.
