The legal landscape is a lot different than when Alan Hagar filed suit over disparaging comments made against ACG. Many jurisdictions have AntiSLAPP laws, see (but don't trust them for legal advise http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_lawsuit_against_public_participation). If somebody were stupid enough to file a lawsuit today, there are resources that would jump at the change to continue to clarify 1st Amendment law. I haven't used them to grade coins, but the whole subject of TPG grading is really more than a knee jerk X is great and Y sucks. I certainly own ANACS graded coins - I have one on my desk @ work as a smile piece (I smile every time I look at it). I've met several of the people who work for ANACS on the show circuit. In fact talked to Cindy on Friday at PNNA. They are all very nice people. I've emailed their customer service team on a couple issues regarding the database - again perfectly professional responses.
