I feel a kinship for all hoarders. I have not always parted with coins easily but I have sold some of my earlier coins or dupes. I sold a few to dealers, many others on Teletrade, which is a reasonable, fairly painless way to sell coins worth up to about $2,000. Speaking of hoarders, the absolute best episode I saw was of some fellow named Dave who had been kicked out of the house by his wife, was driving around in a pickup full of stuff. The show follows this poor fellow as broke and nearly broken down, he attends a flea market and proceeds to spend his last dimes on a beat-up set of golf clubs that he gets ridiculously excited over, saying, "These are rare! Gotta have these -- they're left-handed!" At which point, the narrator said, "There's only two problems. Dave's not left-handed and he doesn't play golf." Such shows are great and at times, hit a little close to home. I believe the collector instinct and hoarder instinct are, if not brothers, certainly cousins.:smile
